We finally know the winner of The Bachelor 2016 and after the Bachelor Finale last night, but now it is finally okay for Ben Higgins and Lauren Bushnell to be seen in public together! They had a crazy ride on The Bachelor Season 20, but it has come to an end and as much as Chris Harrison was pushing for them to get married last night, it did not happen! However, they did appear on Jimmy Kimmel Live and the cover of People magazine coming out this week! Check out both below in our The Bachelor 2016 spoilers!
Last night on The Bachelor Season 20, it was finale time and time for Ben to figure out if he wanted to marry JoJo Fletcher or Lauren! After a painful goodbye to JoJo, Ben got down on one knee and proposed to Lauren and she said yes! The happy couple appeared on the After the Final Rose special afterwards and are happily in love.
The happy couple also will appear on the cover of People magazine this Friday, which can be seen right here:
In the issue, Ben opens up about telling both women that he loves them: “Now that I’m out of that world and we’re together and looking at life from here on out, it’s a lot easier. [The Bachelor] led me to this woman who I love deeply. She is the only woman I’ll love from now on.”
It has been four months since that proposal in Jamaica that we saw last night on The Bachelor 2016 finale, so now they have had some time together while in hiding and the couple talked about that, as Ben joked, “Apparently I’m a loud breather.” Lauren added, “And he’s a morning person. I’m a nothing before 9 a.m. girl. I need coffee immediately before I have a conversation with anybody. And he wakes up cheery and wanting to chit-chat!”
