We all watched the love story between Ben Higgins and Lauren Bushnell on The Bachelor 2016 earlier this year and now it looks like we will get to watch as their story continues! Yes, Ben and Lauren are getting their own reality TV show that will air this fall on Freeform and it will follow them as they live their lives in Denver as an engaged couple!
To be honest, Ben and Lauren have kind of stayed out of the limelight and just been living their life, which I enjoy not hearing about! When they are in the limelight, it usually means they are breaking up three months after the finale airs, but it looks like this couple might make it?
The show is called Ben and Lauren: Happily Ever After and Ben said, “After you walk away from The Bachelor, it’s not like your life becomes private. People still find out what you’re doing, so it’s not changing our life to be public.”
Lauren agreed with that statement, “We’re already used to sharing our lives with everyone else, so we thought, Why not? It’s a fun way to share life after The Bachelor.”
Since The Bachelor 2016 ended, Bushnell has moved in with Higgins in his Denver home back in April. He said, “Starting a life together is never going to be this super smooth transition. It’s going to have rocky edges at times, but I love coming home to her at the end of the day.”
It seems that Ben is considering a run in politics as a Republican for a seat in the Colorado House of Representatives this November! While that will probably get worked into the show, we know that wedding planning will definitely be one of the highlights: “Our life has been a whirlwind. That is really something we want to focus on over the next few months.”
