Last week on “The Women Tell All,” The Bachelor Ben admitted he had found love. He has us wondering, since on the Fantasy Suite overnight dates, he told two women that he loved them–both Lauren and JoJo. This has never happened before in Bachelor history! Sweet Caila Quinn was heartbroken to learn that Ben loved two other women, but couldn’t tell her the same.

We’re live folks, as we join Chris Harrison with a live studio audience to watch a sure-to-be exciting finale of The Bachelor 2016. “The most dramatic finale ever!” as per Harrison. Of course. He then gives her a spoiler alert: we might have a wedding right here tonight on “After the Final Rose.” Ben has told Chris that he loves the woman he chose so much that he would marry her today if he could. I guess Chris wants him to put his money where his mouth with, so to speak. We shall see!
Lauren wakes up in Jamaica feeling good about Ben telling her he loved her. JoJo is feeling the same way, though. She’s feeling totally confident in their fairytale love. Ben, on the other hand, is a mess. He’s no longer “unlovable,” as two women are in love with him, and he meant it when he told both women that he loved them. What to do?
The Bachelor Ben’s family is in the country to meet Lauren and JoJo. He tells Mom and Dad his dilemma. Mom is concerned that Ben is love with two women. Who wouldn’t be?
Lauren’s Visit with Ben’s Parents
Lauren is first up. The couple talks about how Lauren said on the first date that she wanted to meet Ben’s parents. Dad sits down with Lauren and tells her he can see how Ben feels–the twinkle in his eye. Lauren talks about how Ben is one of the best people she has ever met; she has been in love with him for a while. Lauren asks if Ben is ready for marriage. Dad says yes, and is she. Heck, yeah!
Mom’s turn. Lauren shares how she and Ben exchanged the L word and how they have talked about how their relationship is “too good to be true.” Lauren asks how she could most help Ben as a partner. His mom says patience would be good because he can get pretty worked up at times.
Mom talks with Ben about his feelings. He reveals that the gals don’t know that he loves both of them. Mom can’t give him any advice.
Lauren tells Ben that meeting his parents was the last thing that she needed in this process, and she’s ready to get engaged. She would “marry Ben tomorrow,” she says. Maybe on “After the Final Rose”?
JoJo’s Visit with Ben’s Parents
JoJo is nervous, and that’s the first thing she says to Ben’s mom. Ben talks about moments with JoJo where she is just comforting to be around.
Ben’s father is wondering if JoJo meets the bar (very high!) that Lauren set. JoJo tells him that Ben is his best friend and all she wants in a man. She’s emotional as she shares her feelings. JoJo is more nervous when talking to Ben’s mom. She shares how they exhanged the L word (sound familiar?) JoJo feels “safe” with Ben; Mom says Ben said that about her, too. JoJo gets teary-eyed with Mom, too, as she talks about her love for Ben and not wanting to lose him.
JoJo tells Ben she has no doubts about him, but wonders if he’s at the point where he wants to propose. Yes, he says. (To whom is what she doesn’t know–does he?)
Ben’s Parents’ Advice
Dad doesn’t envy his decision, but tells Ben either would say yes, and both would fit. Mom says they’re different, and Dad adds that both are wonderful. Ben can picture life with both of them. Mom is proud of Ben, and the girl he picks will be “blessed.” She just hopes that he makes the right decision. Dad hopes he will get clarity, but he hasn’t yet.
Back to the studio. Chris Harrison reminds us that Ben’s pastor and parents, plus JoJo’s and Lauren’s parents, are all still here, waiting for a possible wedding to end the show.
Ben’s Final Date with Lauren
The Bachelor Ben Higgins is still conflicted. He has been praying a lot, hoping for clarity. Lauren is feeling confident that everything is going to work out. Lauren asks Ben is he is ready, if he is stressed. Yes to both. He admits he hasn’t been sleeping. Lauren knows he has something heavy on his mind, so she’s nervous about Ben’s feelings for JoJo.
On the beach, Lauren asks Ben if he has any doubts about them. No, he’s nervous that things seem almost too perfect. He knew he loved her almost right away and doesn’t even know why. Ben looks pretty stressed. He tells the camera that loving two women is tearing him apart. He feels his relationship with Lauren hasn’t been tested, and is maybe too easy, while he and JoJo have gone through some rough spots and come through it. So now he questions his relationship with Lauren. Oy vey!
Lauren feels really emotional in the evening. She’s scared but still feels like with him is where she is supposed to be. Ben admits that he felt confused today because so much has happened. She wonders if he has questions. She tells him that despite her fear through the whole process, all this has been worth it, and she’s ready to spend her life with him. Ben just looks at her–not knowing what to say, I guess? He tells her that no matter what happens, she has made him a better person. She always stood by him. Both are emotional, and now Lauren starts wondering if Ben loves JoJo, too. “I love you so much,” she tells Ben through tears. She can’t see her life without Ben in it. They hug an emotional goodbye when he leaves. Lauren is afraid that this may have been the last time she’ll hear Ben say that he loves her. Wow, that was intense. Heavy stuff.
